Alayne’s Cat Safari is an
envelope-pushing promenade experience presented by Alayne
Dick and Making Friends Collective. Join Alayne, an
unemployed entrepreneur trying to make her mark with her
latest concept, the Cat Safari, offering hour-long safaris
around the best cats in Wellington. She’s got a gung-ho
investor behind her and she’s starting to gain traction in
the marketplace, but Alayne’s not the only one who’s
come up with the idea, and there are plenty of people who
want Alayne to stop wasting her time. A darkly absurd comedy
about unemployment, work and following your dreams,
Alayne’s Cat Safari should connect with anyone
who’s ever felt like their life’s been put on hold.
THE MAKING FRIENDS COLLECTIVE is Adam

New Zealand Fringe Awards and most recently produced a
double bill of Stand Up Love and Wine Lips at
BATS Theatre in November 2016.
