Entries are now invited for an autumn auction of Important Paintings & Contemporary Art. Works by New Zealand modernist artists are invited, as well as contemporary art, photography and significant historical works, including portraits of tangata whenua by Charles Frederick Goldie and Gottfried Lindauer. International consignments are also invited for this auction.
Early consignments include two important paintings by Charles Frederick Goldie both with excellent provenance. These superb examples depict subjects within architectural, carved settings and are painted with Goldie's signature meticulous artistic mastery.
