Press Release: Samantha Smith

PRESS RELEASE

Frozen Moments Movie into final stages of production.

New Zealand movie ‘Frozen Moments’ which is 75 percent filmed has launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise the rest of the funding required to complete the film. It’s produced and directed by Craig Newland (3 Mile Limit) in association with No.8 Films.

“Film production funding is always difficult to achieve because we are so small in size. However filmmakers always seem to fight through barriers and obstacles. The Kickstarter campaign we have launched has fantastic rewards when people pledge money to the project, like exclusive viewing of the movie on the opening weekend of release through to Executive Producer credits which means people have their name in the film credits." Newland said.

Synopsis: Frozen Moments' is a physiological thriller centred on a successful businessman Josh Hodder. He has a beautiful wife and two children. A dynamic, privileged San Francisco lifestyle. Until one morning he wakes up in a foreign country and discovers his life has forever changed.

"We have filmed a lot of the movie which included travelling to San Francisco and filming around the Golden Gate Bridge, Beaches and the city which really opens up the film. The film is set in San Francisco and is aimed at the North American market which will be exciting to see how we perform against other American thriller feature films. I was very lucky with my cast including Jessica Grace Smith (Denny) from 'Home and Away' and Lloyd Will an Australian actor who plays the lead of Josh Hodder. The rest of the cast including David Aston (the Matrix and Lord of The Rings) are all New Zealanders speaking with American accents." Newland said.
