Celebrity Expert at Upcoming Waitakere Home & Garden Show

Organisers of the Waitakere Home & Garden Show are pleased to announce that television and radio personality, Resident Builder Peter Wolfkamp, will be a celebrity expert at the show, which opens at The Trusts Arena on Friday 19 May. The presence of the building and renovating authority will add a new dimension to the event’s strong focus on home improvement.

Director, Josh Shanley, said “We are very excited to have Resident Builder Peter Wolfkamp as a guest speaker. He will be running a question and answer session in the ‘Ask an Expert’ area at 11.30 a.m. on the Saturday and Sunday. The topic will be ‘Building Today – What You Need to Know’. There will be more industry professionals discussing other high-interest topics over the three days, so visitors will have the chance to quiz them about their home improvement projects. We really encourage people to bring along their plans, photos and ideas and to make the most of all the on-site expertise.”

“We have a great line-up of landscapers, plants, indoor and outdoor furniture, kitchens, bathrooms, heating, builders, renovators and much more. There will be a spa pool feature and a good selection of food and beverage products too. As a bit of fun, we’ll also have a Decorated Door Display, which will include pieces by renowned local artists.”

“One lucky visitor will walk away with the Show Prize, which is an $8,000 Tempur queen adjustable bed and mattress from Harvey Norman Westgate. Plus there is a $250 Resene voucher which can be spent on paint, curtains or wallpaper. For three days from 19-21 May, over 150 exhibitors will gather at The Trusts Arena to showcase the latest innovations and trends in home improvement, along with numerous show-only specials. The event will provide inspiration, variety and expert advice, all under the one roof.

“Visitors can get cosy for winter with a good line-up of different heating options, including several newly-launched wood fires from West City Heating. One has ultra-low emissions and a clever, removable ash pan. Their show-only special is $500 off new wood fire installed packages.
