WE ARE Launches Artist Driven, Ocean Preservation Brand
‘WE ARE’ is set to hit the market as a New Zealand born and bred men’s lifestyle brand dedicated to ocean preservation, whilst embodying exclusive capsule collections by highly curated artists. ‘WE ARE’ is an exclusive, high quality board short range for men who love to live a stylishly bold life, embracing their inner philanthropist and ocean conservationist.
The first official capsule collection is a collaboration with ‘Print by George’, with prints captured exclusively by New Zealand based artist Georgina Skinner.‘WE ARE’ are bringing to the market, a product that is exclusively high in quality and design, long lasting, sustainably driven and devoted to ocean preservation and conservation. ‘WE ARE’, is the people, devoted to our Seas.
Created by Tahlia Northcroft, using her New Zealand roots and time living in the French Riviera as inspiration, the first collection really encapsulates the movement towards responsible fashion. Each Capsule Collection is produced in collaboration with a value aligned artist, and produced in exclusive limited edition drops using fabric made from recycled plastic.
Ocean pollution is an issue that faces this generation like no other before, and the entire team of WE ARE is wholeheartedly driven by creating awareness of an issue that can be rectified. The WE ARE team take no short cuts when it comes to quality, or style, and are driven by a low environmental impact ethos.
Proudly supporting the not-for-prot BALU BLUE FOUNDATION by committing to donate NZ$3 from every sale to the #CLEARTIDES initiative, Tahlia Northcroft is devoted to this cause and will continue to use this as a driving force behind her campaigns.
The heart of ‘WE ARE’ burns with a wanderlust spirit that can never be tamed. The spirit of WE ARE is that of a young salty sea captain. Inspired by endless summer adventures ashore, boat parties and bonfires, drifting and dancing by the sea, surfing and sailing into the night.
