Thousands show up for NZ Tag Football Junior Oceania
Success! Thousands show up for NZ Tag Football Junior
Oceania at Ngati Otara Park
With 86 teams and more than 1000 players from u8s to u18s representing their 10 Pacific Island nations including a contingent from Queensland, the tournament was a great success!
An estimated 10,000 supporters from friends and family turned up throughout the tournament played under a bright sunny day.
Organisers are keen to keep the momentum going, by encouraging more Juniors players to sign up at a NZTFI Tag module next season.
It's the Game for Every Body, all ages, sizes and shapes!
For more information on NZTFI Tag Football and the upcoming NZTFI v Oz Tag Australia Trans Tasman tournament in April, go to the NZTFI website or NZTFI Facebook page.
