This year’s entries are still open for the prestigious Parkin Drawing Prize. The competition attracts a major prize of $20,000 and ten highly commended prizes of $500 each, offering an added incentive for artists.
Founded by Chris Parkin and now in its sixth year entries are open to anyone living permanently in New Zealand. The competition, in association with the New Zealand Academy of Fine Arts, promotes excellence and innovation in drawing in all its forms and aims to play an important role in fostering New Zealand drawing practice.
Entries must close at 4 pm on Friday 8 June.
