Set times announced for star-studded 95bFM GOLD show

95bFM’s big old fiftieth birthday celebration, 95bFM GOLD, is this Friday at the Powerstation. Playing times for the over-the-top lineup have been announced, as well as pre-match and after-party details you will want to get in your diary.

Playing the main event when Powerstation doors open at 8pm, Friday February 15:

Miss June 8:25pm
Coco Solid 9:15pm
True School Hip Hop Show 10:00pm-11pm
Beastwars 11:15pm-close

If you've somehow missed the news about the Original World Famous True School Hip Hop Show live extravaganza, current hosts Ev Love, GetBan and Barry Bonza are teaming up with True School founders Sir Vere, Slave and Base for an hour-long performance, joined by a staggering list of guest MCs: Mareko, Dam Native, SWIDT, Melodownz, Diggy Dupe, Church & AP, IMAG€, Rei, and Lukan Raisey.

Now, pick your jaw up off the ground because there’s still loads more.

At 95bFM GOLD events, you can wet your whistle with smooth-drinking Southern Comfort AND an extremely special, wildly limited edition 95bFM GOLD lager, brewed by Deep Creek. Yes, 95bFM managed to get the words “other radio stations are still shit” onto the side of a beer can and yes, they are very pleased with themselves.
One party not enough for you? No fear! While the festivities at the Powerstation kick off at 8pm, 95bFM Drive will be broadcasting live from The Corner Store on Mt Eden Rd from 4pm. Join Jonny, Big Hungry, and a bunch of pre-gig warmer uppers for yarns, shenanigans, and general hijinks.
Two parties not enough for you? Well, alright then. 95bFM Gold wristbands also include free entry to the after party at Whammy Backroom from 11pm. 95bFM’s finest DJs will be keeping the party going through the wee hours: Stinky Jim and Dubhead, Back on the Good Foot vs The Swap Meet, Mikey Havoc vs The Professor and a special edition of the Jukebox Parlour with Soong - playing your hottest requests from the last fifty years of 95bFM.

See you there.
