cars in 2014, the Auckland Brit & Euro Classic Car
Show is now New Zealand’s largest free car
show.
1,067 classic cars and motorcycles have been registered for the immensely popular 4th annual event this Sunday 3rd March (10am to 3.30pm) at East Auckland’s Lloyd Elsmore Park, near the Howick Historical Village.
It is Auckland - and New Zealand’s - largest free car show, organised by volunteers from many car clubs, involving many community organisations, and supported by Howick Local Board and others sponsors. See: www.briteurocarshow.nz
Fascinating cars will include an ex Royal tour Rolls Royce, a Buckler, a rare $2.5m Jaguar XKSS, and WWII Volkswagens. Along with memorable everyday cars like Austin, Morris, Vauxhall, Triumph, MG and Ford. Live radio broadcast with British & European themed music by EAST FM, lots of food and drink, treasure hunt for children and a live day at the historical village with discounted entry.
For 2019 there will be a special ‘Story Circle’ of cars with fascinating histories.
Special anniversary displays include 100 years of Bentley and Citroen, 70 years of Lotus, 60 years of Mini, and 50 years of the Auckland Jaguar Drivers Club.
With British and European music, flags, colour and so many appealing classic cars, this event celebrates Auckland transport history and being free to the public is a highlight community event.
