Free First Year Membership (2019/20 SEASON) to Pt Chev Bowls, for all new/novice Bowlers - An offer not to be missed!

This coming Tuesday (5 March) at 6:30-7:30pm, we are launching 'Coaching Tuesdays’ with our highly successful club coaching team. Anyone can come along and sign-up for the sessions to see if Bowls is for them, (or help develop their existing skills a little further!). The cost is $10 per session, or $90 for a full set of 10 sessions when paid for in advance. But if they like what they have seen, have completed the full 10 sessions, and then choose to join the club as a full playing member (with all the benefits that brings!) - and are genuinely NEW (and not previously registered!) to the sport, WE WILL PAY THEIR FIRST YEAR FEES for next season! Now is an exciting time for the sport of Lawn Bowls in Auckland. And Auckland Bowls are investing in local clubs to make sure they are firmly at the heart of their communities.

Pt Chev Bowls is one of the leading, and most successful Lawn Bowls clubs in Auckland, as it not only caters for players of all ages (3-80+ year olds!), but also offers a fun, inclusive and safe place for families and players of all backgrounds, ages and abilities to meet and relax with friends alongside our three greens, in a centrally located, easily accessible, purpose built venue.

Situated in a beautiful setting, surrounded by our superbly maintained Greens, children's play area and car park, we have a fully active Clubhouse & Galley restaurant with an active social calendar of events, (like our Saturday Night Live entertainment acts), along with delicious food to enjoy in the bar, out on the deck or around the Greens. The Clubhouse & Galley can provide anything from a simple bar snacks and daily meals to large catering for weddings, parties and corporate functions.

Throughout the season we stage organised competitive team events (with prize money to be won), fun social bowls and activities (through our ‘Just4fun!' programme) and junior coaching with our Parrots programme at local schools and Kindie's. We also take part in the exciting and high profile annual Bowls 3Five league, which is a new, shorter format version of the game (lasts about 60 minutes), and is an inter-club competition shown on Sky Sports in October and November. Our premier team the AUTEX PT Chevalier Bowls Pirates are the current and inaugural league Champions!
