World-class Andalusian Flamenco Musician Paul Bosauder Announces Tierra Y Mar 2023 With Four Shows
New Zealand’s Spanish Flamenco guitar prodigy Paul Bosauder joins world-class international guest artists for Tierra y Mar ’23 for four dates only at Splore, Waikato Arts Festival, Wellington Fringe and the Warkworth Town Hall.

Tierra y Mar Flamenco Project unifies Andalusian flamenco guitar and dance in a powerful and unique performance that explores the limits of improvisation, innovation, and Spanish tradition. Featuring award-winning flamenco dancer Roshanne da Silva Wijeyeratne, flamenco singer Zoe Velez and multi-percussionist Phill Jones this performance is not to be missed.

Tierra y Mar ’23 Artists
Paul Bosauder has built an international career since graduating with the highest possible honours from ESMUC (Spain) and seeing his debut self-composed album Tierra y Mar hit #1 in the NZ independent music charts. Always true to the authentic Flamenco pulse, his unique style evokes the land and sea of his Aotearoa homeland, enchanting audiences and drawing international Flamenco talent to his side. Flamenco dancer: Roshanne da Silva Wijeyeratne
Roshanne is an internationally awarded Flamenco artist dancing principally in Spain and Australia. She is the Artistic Director of multiple award-winning Flamenco ensemble Compañía Alma Flamenca and Director of Alma Flamenca Dance School. Roshanne teaches and performs throughout the world, most recently in Seville, London, New York, Sydney and New Zealand.
Roshanne is the only Australian recipient of the Beca de Oro (Gold Scholarship) from Madrid’s prestigious flamenco academy ‘Amor de Dios’ and her passionate performances have led to standing ovations, solo roles in professional tablaos in Spain and great acclaim both in Spain and Australia.
Flamenco singer: Zoe Velez
Zoe has had a prolific career as a Flamenco dancer/singer, performing extensively with top Flamenco artists and ensembles at festivals, in stage shows and tablaos throughout Australia and is one of only a handful of the country’s Flamenco singers. She has won awards at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and the Adelaide Cabaret Fringe Festival and was awarded the Alex Vidal Fiesta Award in 2012.
Phill Jones (Percussion) is a multi-instrumentalist who has contributed to many live performances and studio album recordings for award-winning artists.
