Capital C Is Back – And Bolder Than Ever
After weathering the storm and taking a much-needed hiatus, Capital C: Concerts & Events is proud to announce its return to the live entertainment arena.
From Elton John to Rock2Wgtn, Anne Frank to Diana’s Dresses, Capital C has helped shape the soundtrack of New Zealand’s cultural life for more than three decades
Now under the leadership of Damien Sprey, the next generation takes the reins with fresh energy, new partnerships, and a bold, evolving vision. Operating within Knot Art (NZ) Ltd, Capital C is picking up where it left off—delivering unforgettable experiences that connect communities, artists, and audiences.
“Capital C never really died—it just went underground,” says founder Phil Sprey. “The passion, the ideas, and the love for live performance never left. Now we’re bringing it back, with more creative firepower than ever.”
With a renewed focus on immersive, experience-led events and cross-sector collaborations, Capital C will continue to push the boundaries of what entertainment can look like in New Zealand/Aotearoa—without compromising on quality, boldness, or authenticity.
