Lotte Gallagher Shares Searing New Single 'F U In Morse Code'

[25 July, 2025] Naarm/ Melbourne-based singer-songwriter Lotte Gallagher is back with a vengeance on ‘F U IN MORSE CODE’, an angsty, unapologetic anthem of a tune. ‘F U IN MORSE CODE’ arrives ahead of Lotte’s sold-out show at The Wesley Anne in Melbourne this evening, with additional Sydney and Wollongong dates over the coming weeks.

A co-write with Ciarran Babbington of Baker's Eddy, ‘F U IN MORSE CODE’ is a fiery “f*ck you” to the kind of ex you just can’t seem to shake, even when you know you should; Lotte pulls no punches, her vocals soaring in full flight, over serrated guitar riffs, as she channels all the rage of a relationship breakdown.

The brash ‘F U IN MORSE CODE’ follows the earlier release of ‘PTRCK’, which marked the start of an exciting new chapter for Lotte. ‘PTRCK’ saw spins from triple j, and strong support from streaming services including a raft of New Music Friday adds and a Local Noise cover from Spotify, plus adds to Apple Music playlists like New Music Daily, New In Indie and Superbloom. After breaking through as a triple j Unearthed finalist in 2023, Lotte’s star rose throughout 2024 into 2025. In October last year, Lotte released her debut EP A Better Feeling - a confident and addictive collection of songs that combined the effortless cool of modern indie with the nostalgic energy of the 90s rock she was raised on.

The EP yielded the popular lead single 'Adam' (over 1 million streams on DSPs), and follow-ups 'Gray' and 'This Room', which resonated with a new wave of indie fans. Lotte soon found herself gracing stages with an array of impressive acts including The Beaches, Ricky Montgomery, St Vincent, Matt Corby and more recently Holy Holy and Telenova. She also appeared at festivals including Laneway in Melbourne, Bass In The Grass and Party In The Paddock.

Tonight, Lotte will bring her blazing new single to life with her new three-piece band at a sold-out show at Melbourne’s The Wesley Anne, before heading to Sydney (Trocadero Room) and Wollongong (TBH Fridays).
