Young Kiwi Stars To Light Up The Stage At Coca-Cola Christmas In The Park

New Zealand’s biggest free outdoor Christmas celebration returns with a wave of new stars ready to step up and stand out.
A record number of aspiring performers applied to join the cast of Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park 2025, marking a standout year for the iconic event which held it’s first audition in 1994.
“We’re always blown away by the sheer volume of talent that comes through the door each year - and it just keeps getting better,” says creative director Dixon Nacey, who led this year’s nationwide talent search alongside musical director Andy Cochrane and choreographer Hadleigh Pouesi.
The team was overwhelmed by the quality of auditions; from powerhouse vocalists to high-energy dance crews, the successful applicants are now set to perform alongside some of the country’s top entertainers in Christchurch and Auckland later this year.
“The future of Kiwi entertainment looks incredibly bright,” says Dixon. “These young performers are stars in the making, and this is their chance to shine in front of a massive live audience and share the stage with some of the nation’s best.”
Coca-Cola NZ’s Annette Chillingworth says the continued success of the talent search reflects the event’s enduring appeal.
“For over three decades, Coca-Cola Christmas in the Park has celebrated Kiwi talent and brought friends, families, and communities together. We’re thrilled to shine the spotlight once again on another new wave of Kiwi talent.”
The final lineup will be announced in September, with organisers promising a high-energy, arena-style show complete with spectacular sound and lighting, the Coke Food Fest village, and the crowd favourite all-stars-on-stage fireworks finale.
