A-Leagues And Mitre Reveal 2025/26 Official Match Ball

Tuesday 9 September: The Australian Professional Leagues (APL) is excited to reveal the Official Match Ball for the Isuzu UTE A-League Men and Ninja A-League Women 2025/26 seasons with Official Match Ball Partner, Mitre.
After the launch of the three-year partnership in 2024, the global football brand has returned with its updated Ultimax Pro, boasting brand new technology and improved performance matched with a striking, bespoke design for the A-Leagues.
The new Ultimax Pro is a significant update on last season’s ball, drawing inspiration from the original Mitre Ultimax ball released in 1995, featuring a brand new panel configuration to ensure improved control and a powerful connection with every strike.
The new Ultimax Pro also features brand new HyperFlow debossed grooves, which reduces drag by up to 10 per cent more than the previous Ultimax Pro, and provides in-flight stability ensuring consistency across all speeds.
A bespoke Mitre Delta Skin supports in-game grip on the ball for better control, and Mitre’s HyperSeal thermally-bonded technology provides superb shape retention, durability, and virtually zero water absorption. While its higher grade HyperFoam elastic cushioning improves rebound by approximately five per cent, meaning more power in strikes, while delivering a highly responsive touch.
Designed and tested to perform at the highest standards, ensured by its FIFA Quality Pro certification, the Mitre Ultimax Pro is also used by leading football competitions across the world including the FA Cup, as well as the Australia Cup and many member federation competitions across Australia.
Mitre Australia’s, Gerrard Woods said, “We’re very proud at Mitre Sports Australia and New Zealand to be partnering with the A-Leagues as the Official Match Ball supplier for the 2025/26 A-Leagues seasons. Last season’s Isuzu UTE A-League and Ninja A-League competitions were a resounding success both on and off the field, with our A-Leagues range of footballs successfully aligning with the passion and energy of Australia and New Zealand’s premier elite footballing competitions.”
“Our brand new Ultimax Pro Official Match Ball will further enhance the quality of play in the 2025/26 Seasons, alongside our Replica range that caters to different skill levels and price points, making high-quality footballs accessible to all fans.”
The A-Leagues 2025/26 Official Match Ball and replica retail range will be available at Rebel stores nationally and online at Mitre Australia from Tuesday 9 September.
The Isuzu UTE A-League Men kicks off on October 17, with the Ninja A-League Women to start season 2025/26 on October 31. For more information on the A-Leagues head to www.aleagues.com.au
