New Zealand Film Commission Board Strengthened
The New Zealand Film Commission (NZFC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Glen Kyne to its Board of Directors.
Glen brings extensive knowledge from the media sector, including senior leadership roles as Senior VP and GM at Discovery ANZ, Chief Commercial Officer at MediaWorks NZ, and most recently Senior Vice President and Head of Network at Warner Bros Discovery for Australia, New Zealand, and Japan.
Renowned for guiding teams through industry change and forging strong partnerships, Glen’s expertise will be a huge asset as NZFC continues to champion local film and position Aotearoa New Zealand as a leading destination for international productions.
We’re excited to work with Glen and draw on his strategic insights, commercial expertise, and innovative approach to connecting audiences with world-class content.
Alongside Kyne joining the NZFC Board, Jane Meares has been reappointed for an additional three-year term.
Long-serving Board member David Wright has concluded his tenure after several years. The NZFC extends its gratitude for his guidance, support, and contribution throughout this period.
