ConneXu Partners Shine At Special Olympics National Summer Games

ConneXu is celebrating the achievements of its partners who competed at the Special Olympics New Zealand National Summer Games in Christchurch, showcasing dedication, perseverance, and the joy of sport.

The Games brought together athletes from across Aotearoa and highlighted the power of inclusion, connection, and opportunity.

ConneXu partners demonstrated months — and in many cases years — of commitment through training, goal-setting, and determination to reach the national stage.

Te Awamutu Locals:

• Caleb Hakwins — Silver Medal, 4 x 25m Freestyle; Gold Medal, 100m Relay
• Peter Crawford — Gold Medal, 50m Freestyle; Gold Medal, 25m Freestyle

Cambridge Local:

• Corban George-Potterton — Silver Medal, Basketball

Tauranga Locals:

• Tiara Taylor — Bronze Medals, Athletics 4 x 100m Relay; also competed in the 200m and shotput
• Megan Macalister — Bronze Medals for Athletics 200m and 4 x 100m Relay, also competed in 100 m
• Stacy Parker – 100m sprint, shotput, javelin
