Internationally-Trained Clown Show At Gryphon Theatre - Fringe 2026

Dancing playfully on the line between being genuinely joyful and shamelessly performing for others is the devilishly cheeky, BUCK SCOURGE.
BUCK SCOURGE: LIVING NIGHTMARE is the latest comedy work by internationally trained local clown Sean Burnett Dugdale-Martin. Hitting the Gryphon Theatre for NZ Fringe this February, before Auckland’s Basement Theatre in March.
Fresh from the Ecole Phillipe Gaulier School in France, where they graduated with the illustrious Stupidest Face Award (joke?). This clown (derogatory) from Wellington, New Zealand, has curated a show of tried and true stupid scenes.
Dugdale-Martin is also responsible for other chaotic successes such as the infamous MILK saga, the award-winning ratKing, Crush the Bug with Dan Nodder, and the ever-confusing different shows, The Devils Are Coming’, and ‘Dogs In The Hole’.
“Child-like absurdity and a twinkly eye of menace”
- Chloe Jacques, Theatreview
“Brain rot but in real life”
- Audience Member
If you’re happy not knowing exactly what’s going on, if you need an ESCAPE from the RAT RACE, if you need a break but can’t afford a Kit Kat (the candy or the club), come see BUCK run AMOCK (pretty good right).
