New Zealand family adventure series Secrets at Red Rocks has won the Children’s & Family Emmy® Award for Outstanding Music Direction and Composition for a Live Action Program for the episode ‘Open Your Mind a Little’.

The award recognises composers Stephen Gallagher and David Long for their original score on the Libertine Pictures production.

The series was also nominated at the Children’s & Family Emmy® Awards for Outstanding Writing for a Preschool or Children’s Series (Martha Hardy-Ward) and Outstanding Editing for a Preschool or Children’s Live Action Program (Alex Boyd).

The Emmy win follows the series’ recognition as National Winner - Best Children’s Programme at the Asian Academy Creative Awards and multiple finalist nominations at the 2025 NZ Screen Awards.

A second season of Secrets at Red Rocks is currently in production in Wellington, New Zealand.

Secrets at Red Rocks is produced by Libertine Pictures, co-commissioned by BYUtv (US) and Sky New Zealand Originals, with investment from NZ On Air. WildBrain handles global distribution. The series benefits from the New Zealand Screen Production Rebate, cash-flowed by Hinterland.
