Elimination Final Sold Out, As Momentum Builds To Ninja A-League 2026 Finals Series

  • Brisbane Roar vs Adelaide United Elimination Final is a sell out.
  • Canberra United vs Melbourne Victory on sale, live on 10 Drama.
  • APL confirms VAR to be introduced for Ninja A-League Grand Final.

Less than a week on from the regular season, momentum is building to the Ninja A-League 2026 Finals Series, as Brisbane Roar confirms their Elimination Final against Adelaide United is sold out just days after going on sale.

Spencer Park is set to be a buzz in front of a sold out crowd, as the Roar host fifth-placed Adelaide United in a cut-throat Elimination Final. The final round of the season saw the Roar leapfrog the Reds with a last minute penalty save to earn a home final, with the match set to feature several Matildas and Young Matildas returning from the AFC U20 Women’s Asian Cup to their respective clubs for the contest.

The first Elimination Final will see Canberra United host Melbourne Victory on Saturday 25 April at McKellar Park. Canberra will be looking to make amends for their Elimination Final exit last season as they face a Victory side who have qualified for their eighth consecutive Finals Series.

Tickets for the clash are on sale now via this link for members, with tickets going on sale for the general public tomorrow at 2pm AEST. Fans can also watch the match live, free-to-air on 10 Drama from 1:30pm AEST.

Watching in the wings is history-making Melbourne City, who claimed their third consecutive Premier’s Plate, and Wellington Phoenix, with the New Zealand side securing their highest ever finish in the Ninja A-League and competing in their first Finals Series.

Fixtures for the two-legged Semi Finals will be confirmed following the Elimination Final and will be played in the first and second weekend in May, with the top two teams hosting the second leg.

The highest placed team from the regular season that qualifies for the Grand Final will earn the right to host the 2026 Ninja A-League Grand Final to be played on the weekend of 16-17 May.

The A-Leagues can also confirm that, for the first time, Video Assistant Referee (VAR) will be introduced for the Ninja A-League 2026 Grand Final, while fans will be able to catch one game every weekend of the Ninja A-League 2026 Finals Series live and free-to-air on 10 Drama.
