Hearing Comparing British & NZ Universities Looms
Hearing Of Application On Information Comparing British And NZ Universities To Be Held Tuesday 23 March
The application by the University of Auckland and the Victoria University of Wellington to stop the release of a comparison of British universities with NZ universities by the Tertiary Education Commission will be heard in the High Court in Auckland at 10am Tuesday 23 March.
This follows a judicial conference this afternoon in which Justice Williams decided that a hearing should be held.
It is likely to be an open court hearing.
At this stage the TEC will not be releasing any information about the PBRF results, at least until after the outcome of the court hearing is known.
The proposed public release on Tuesday 23 March of the Performance Based Research Fund Assessment is now postponed.
