Celebration of Integrated Schools
Celebration of Integrated Schools supported by trustees
organisation
The New Zealand School Trustees Association is wishing the country’s 240 Catholic schools all the best for their day of celebration tomorrow.
The NZSTA President Lorraine Kerr says trustees support the Catholic Education Office in celebrating Catholic State Integrated schools on their special national day of 2 May.
She says state integrated schools make an important contribution to the New Zealand state education sector, a sector which NZ can be justifiably proud of.
“I’m sure that all state schools could identify with the Catholic State integrated schools as they encourage their students to be people who live with gratitude for the past, enthusiasm for the present and hope for the future.”
Lorraine Kerr says the theme of the day of celebration which is “radiating hope and celebrating excellence”, is not only appropriate to Catholic schools, but to all state schools.
NZSTA wishes New Zealand’s 240 Catholic schools well for their day of celebrations
