Wavelength wins international Gold

Wavelength have won Gold with a world-leading awards programme for online learning – a first for a New Zealand company.

WELLINGTON – October 2008 – Wavelength (www.wl.co.nz) won Gold at the 2008 Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards (www.brandon-hall.com). The winning entry was a custom e-learning (online learning) course that Wavelength designed and developed for Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) (www.acc.co.nz).

"This is great news for New Zealand. We Kiwis believe we've got something special to offer the world. This award proves we can deliver world-changing products," says Craig Duker, Wavelength's Operations Manager, who picked the Gold up at the awards ceremony in San Jose, California.

Since 1994 the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards has showcased exceptional work in the use of learning technology. This year's awards programme received almost 250 entries, which were evaluated by independent judges from around the world.

This is Wavelength's third consecutive year of winning a Brandon Hall Award, the company having received a Bronze and two Silvers in the past two years.

Other winners of Brandon Hall Gold awards include McDonalds, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe, and Walt Disney.
