“SI TANGGANG”
The OUSA affiliated Otago Malaysian Students Association presents “SI TANGGANG”, a night of cultural performances: Malay, Chinese, Indian and hip-hop dances, kompang (hand held drums), dikir barat (clap and sing choir), silat (Malaysian traditional martial arts).
“It will be a great event to close of the OUSA International Month 2009 in style with some Malaysia culture” says OUSA International Students’ Officer Art Kojarunchitt. “The audience will be in for an annual celebration of Malaysian culture which they will be sure to enjoy”
The OUSA International Month 2009 has come to an end, and to end this month in style the Malaysian Cultural Night represent one of the cultural diversity this university have to offer to Dunedin public, it is going to be a night to remember from the South East Asian country Malaysia.
“SI TANGGANG” will happen, at Teacher College Auditorium at 7 pm on Saturday 8th August. Tickets are $6 Member and $8 Non-member and $8 door sale on the night. Tickets on sale at Union and Hunter Centre 12-2pm, or email iso@ousa.org.nz for RSVP.
