NZATD Education Trust Grants 2010
NZATD Education Trust is a registered charity with the aim to enhance the practice of training and development in New Zealand by providing monetary grants for any individual or organisation involved in the fields of training and development at any level within New Zealand. The grants are available to assist with specific proposals (projects) which are considered by the Trustees to be relevant within a wide range of fields associated with training and development.
Some examples of projects that are suggested for the grants are:
fund research, the results of which will add to the knowledge and skills of trainers in New Zealand;
The organisation or provision of facilities, equipment, courses, lectures, demonstrations and other teaching of whatever kind on the principles methods and practical aspects of every kind of T & D
assisting with projects that develop people to carry out with greater competence, jobs related to their employment, trade or business;
promoting awareness of training and development through publication, conferences, meetings and the media;
supporting research and /or study in training and development in New Zealand or overseas;
supporting a visit to New Zealand by eminent people, knowledgeable about or working in a training‑related field overseas.
If you are successful in your application you will be encouraged to share the results of your project within New Zealand either by publication - preferably the NZATD monthly journal “People and Performance” and/or presenting a paper in a suitable forum such as a NZATD or HIRNZ conference, or a monthly meeting of a local NZATD group.
