ERO Report Vindicates Public Ece Provision
The
Education Review Office (ERO) recently reviewed the on
Tauranga Region Kindergartens’ (TRK) Home Based service.
The Report establishes that the service is a high quality
one.
“A particular strength of the service id the high
levels of trust,
respect and confidence among educators,
children and
parents ….Children demonstrate a strong
sense of belonging
and show consideration for each other
while developing friendships.
They play and learn in
safe and familiar home surroundings where
Their emotional
and social well being is enhanced by nurturing educators.”

TRK’s Home Based Service operates from Whitianga in the north through to Papamoa in the east.
“We are delighted for our staff that ERO have recognised the high quality of the educational programme that we offer.” said TRK Principal, Peter Monteith.
“EROs findings are vindication for the community provision of such services. The non-profit nature of our service assists us to provide a high level of quality. ” concluded Mr Monteith.
