Kids’ Day Out – A Free Family Day Out
Kids’ Day Out – A Free Family Day
Out
The Funky Monkeys, NZ’s own musical
supergroup for kids never fail to put a smile on a child’s
face, and neither does Kids’ Day Out, an Auckland family
favourite and a FREE day out for the whole community.
The event is hosted twice yearly by USU Students’ Association at Unitec to provide a fun day out for Unitec students who have kids and the whole community.
There will be heaps of entertainment such as bouncy castles, face painters, clowns, magicians, games and rides along with some delicious treats. A great outing for the whole family to enjoy!
Entry is free but some rides are ticketed. However, if you’re a Unitec student, bring your I.D. card and get free tickets for all the rides.
Around a quarter of Unitec students have dependents, which is why USU Students’ Association at Unitec decided to establish this event two years ago.
Kids’ Day Out will be held at the Henderson Primary School fields at the corner of Great North Road and Edsel Street, just a two-minute walk from Unitec’s Waitakere campus.
