NorthTec is saddened to learn of the tragic accident in New Plymouth yesterday where three students and a tutor were washed into the ocean.
The named tutor, Bryce Jourdain, taught at NorthTec for two and a half years as a Sport and Recreation Outdoor Recreation Tutor. He was highly regarded by colleagues and students alike.
Our thoughts are with the families and friends of Bryce and the two students at this difficult time.
