A day of free learning and entertainment

The Mairangi Arts Centre is proud to announce our 'Meet the Tutors' day on Saturday, 18 May from 10am-2pm. Free entry.

Our friendly tutors will be demonstrating techniques in our studios and will be only too happy to meet and have a chat with you. Both adults' and kids' tutors will be present.

Acrylic, Oil, Watercolour, Pastel, Drawing, Etching, Glass casting, Pottery, Writing, Mixed Media...

there's hardly anything we don’t offer here at the Mairangi Arts Centre. Plus we have classes for all ages and abilities - so making art becomes a fun and entertaining activity for you amongst other likeminded students.

The office will be open so you can choose your ideal class and make a booking at the same time.

Enjoy saxophone tunes from Joel Griffin, snacks and a freshly brewed coffee from Cruis'n Coffee.

This day coincides with our 'Tutors Showcase' (opens 6pm Weds 15 May, runs 15-25 May) so you will also be able to pop into the galleries and see examples of our tutors' artwork.
