Visit the Capital’s coolest little preschool this Saturday
What do music classes, Letterland, gym day, ‘Dance with Bridget’, themed school holiday, library visits and technological learning games all have in common? These are just some of the activities children at Capital City Preschool get to experience on a regular basis.
They say that ‘seeing is believing’ and so Capital City Preschool is having an ‘Open Day’ for the community to see and experience for themselves all that’s on offer at the preschool this Saturday 23 November from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. located at 3 MacDonald Cresent (just off of Willis Street, across from Dixon Street) in downtown Wellington.
What’s more, the preschool is accepting applications for 2014, so if you feel that the preschool ‘fits’ your child’s/children’s learning needs when you get there you will have the opportunity to fill out an application form or leave your contact details for follow-up.
Current teachers and parents with children attending the preschool will also be on site to chat with so you can discover first-hand why this preschool is the coolest in the city.
“What makes our preschool so special? We strive to combine actual experiences and lessons into creative activities so children become passionate about learning, so much that they gain a true love for it, “says Lisa Marshall, Preschool Manager.
“In addition to telling potential families though, we want to show them. That’s why we’re having an open day so prospective parents and children can see for themselves.”
There will be an array of fun activities and face-painting available for children to enjoy; and tea, coffee and biscuits for everyone to indulge in.
90.1 FM Classic Hits radio station will also be at the open day with fun giveaways and a sausage sizzle. Tune in to the radio station for more information on the day.
Capital City Preschool is a non-profit preschool providing education and care to children between three and five years old, for over 19 years. Licensed for up to 30 children the preschool retains a learning environment of approximately 28 children on a daily roll, and has a teacher ratio of 1:7. All teachers are trained and registered.
If you are unable to visit the preschool in person this Saturday check out their website for more information, www.CapitalCityPreschool.co.nz
