Last minute delivery saves the ‘first’ day
Last minute delivery saves the ‘first’
day

The first day of high school is challenging enough without the prospect of not having a uniform for your child.
Whangaparaoa mum Kirstie Jenner was in exactly that position when she rang New Zealand Uniforms. Jenner’s six foot tall son had grown considerably over the summer break and they could not find the sizes they needed in time for the start of term today.
“It was fairly stressful, but Sarah arrived with the uniform at our house, she even brought extra sizes just in case. It not often you get that level of service” said Jenner.
NZ Uniforms representative Sarah Taylor worked until 11.30pm on Tuesday night personally delivering uniforms to homes across Auckland from Onehunga to Whangaparaoa including the Jenner’s.
She said that many parents had placed last minute orders and were desperate to ensure that their children had a uniform for the first day of school.
“Kids are nervous enough when they’re starting a new school, it’s such a big day. The idea of not having the right uniform can be really upsetting for both the kids and their parents. We knew we had to do everything we could to get it sorted for them”, Taylor said.
NZ Uniforms provided over 50,000 uniforms to
students and schools across the country in the past
year.
