Tertiary Education Commission Update
We want to update you on what’s happening at the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC).
On 1 July the Education (Update) Amendment Act took effect and the TEC became the Government’s career agency. As a result of the Act, the staff and functions of Careers New Zealand (CNZ) have transferred to the TEC.
For the next few months we’ll be realigning our business to integrate all our functions and responsibilities.
As we work through this process, learners and job seekers can still access career tools and products at www.careers.govt.nz
