Proud to be a School Trustee
The New Zealand School Trustees Association is inviting people who have served on a school board of trustees at any time in the past 30 years, to rally via social media.
Since the Tomorrows Schools reforms were introduced in 1989, an estimated 100,000 professionals, tradespeople, parents and community leaders have contributed their time, energy and expertise to ensure the success of schools, classrooms and students.
Current and past trustees are asked to share their successes as part of this year’s 30th anniversary of school boards of trustees, using the hashtag #ProudtobeaSchoolTrustee.
