Auckland 29th April, 2003 - Roche Consumer Health (NZ) is the name behind some of the country’s most popular pharmaceutical brands including Berocca, Elevit, Redoxon, Supradyn, Aspro, Naprogesic and Cepacol. In the wake of the Pan Pharmaceuticals product recall by the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), we would like to reassure the New Zealand public that none of the Roche Consumer Health (NZ) products are manufactured by Pan.
We can also reassure you that all Roche brands are manufactured to the highest pharmaceutical standards for the health and safety of the New Zealand public. All Roche OTC brands meet the highest standard set by Medsafe New Zealand and TGA Australia for safety and quality.
All of the Roche OTC products listed below are unaffected by this recall.

NOTE: The TGA is the body responsible for regulating
vitamin and mineral supplements. In New Zealand, Medsafe, a
division of the Ministry of Health is the New Zealand
equivalent.
