McDonald's New Zealand salads all under nine grams of fat
In light of a recent report from the UK which has led to some media interest, McDonald's Restaurants (New Zealand) Limited would like to advise the following:
McDonald's New Zealand has three salads as part of its SaladsPlus range:
* Smoked Chicken Salad with 5.4 grams of total fat per average serve (1.8 grams per 100 grams)
* Tuna Salad with 3.5 grams of total fat per average serve (1.1 grams per 100 grams)
* Crisp Garden Salad with 3.2 grams of total fat per average serve (1.4 grams per 100 grams).
None of the McDonald's salads have fat levels even remotely approaching those of hamburgers.
