Natural Health Industry representative will be placing a series of questions before a special combined meeting in Auckland with the Health Spokespersons representing all the Parliamentary Parties.
The Main questions will be:
Where to Now?
The
Ministerial Advisory Committee on Complementary and
Alternative Health has reported to the Minister on the
Integration of Complementary and Alternative Health Care
into mainstream medicine.
Will the present government integrate Complementary and Alternative Health as part of the public primary health care system or will the report be placed in the file and forget column. What policies will the individual political parties support?
Where do we go
from here?
With the current Stalemate of the Joint
Therapeutic Agency Legislation and multi-party opposition,
which political Parties will take the initiative and move
forward and adopt a policy for appropriate legislation
developed within a New Zealand framework for the regulation
of the Natural HealthCare Industry.
New Zealanders Health Status is at crisis point. Will the politicians embrace practical and viable policies or will they continue with a system of health care that no longer meets the needs and aspirations of the New Zealand consumer?
