Lunchtime petitioners support Plunket
In a huge show of support, hundreds of Wellingtonians along Lambton Quay paused at lunchtime today to sign the Plunket petition calling for the reinstatement of Ministry of Health funding for PlunketLine.
Over the course of an hour and an half, over 500 added their names to the thousands who have already signed the petition around the country.
The petition will be presented to the Prime Minister at the end of May.
