HB Medical Research Foundation Raising Awareness
HB Medical Research Foundation Raising Awareness
This weekend (April 14th and 15th) Hawke’s Bay Medical Research Foundation will undertake a major information and funding drive with a mail drop of thousands of brochures to various suburbs in both Napier and Hastings. This coincides with the launch of their new website www.hbmrf.org.nz the following week.
President of Hawke’s Bay Medical Research Foundation Andrew Wares said: “There are two prime reasons for the drive. The first is to promote an organisation that has had a major influence on the health welfare of the people of Hawke’s Bay since 1961. The second is to ask our community for donations, so that the future of medical research in Hawke’s Bay remains as strong as it is today.
“For every breakthrough in medical science enormous resources are committed to research and development. The Hawke’s Bay Medical Research Foundation provides financial assistance for this research making these breakthroughs possible,” Andrew Wares said.
