Napier Springhill Addiction Services Under Threat
Napier Springhill Addiction Services Under Threat
Ongoing issues within the Springhill Trust have resulted in probable closure of Springhill Addiction Services. This will result in NO residential addiction services in the Greater Hawkes Bay Region
Immediate investigative journalism would be greatly advantageous to the people suffering from addictions in the North Island and we are the voice on their behalf.
Building plans for Springhill (highly desirable real estate) have been under discussion and unresolved at meetings for many months. Government donation (one million dollars) has been returned to the government.
Residential specialist services will be unavailable to addiction sufferers and informed public opinion would allow mental health the voice and prominence it deserves. A meeting this evening could nail the lid on the coffin.
