College Of GPs Focus On Annual Conference
College Of General Practitioners Focus On Annual Conference
Focus of College attention this week is at the annual conference in Rotorua at the new Energy Events Centre, 11-14 July. There are some interesting, somewhat introspective keynote speeches being delivered.
Professor Lewis Ritchie from Aberdeen is presenting on the relevancy to New Zealand of the Scottish experience, Larry Green from the US and Jonathan Newbury from Adelaide. There will be heavy concentration on rural primary care.
The College will be launching Cultural competence guidelines about 1pm on Saturday, and there will be six Distinguished Fellowships conferred at the conference dinner on Friday evening. Releases will be provided.
I have attached a pdf of the complete programme.
