One flown from crash on Kapiti Coast
The Wellington based Westpac Rescue Helicopter has just transported one patient from a road traffic crash on St Hwy 1.
The helicopter, with a Wellington Free Ambulance paramedic onboard responded to the crash near Fisherman's table around 4pm.
One female patient, with a head injury, was transported to the Wellington Hospital Emergency Department with suspected head injuries. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Other patients were transported by road ambulance.
No other details are available at this time as the helicopter has responded on another mission.
