Healthy Skin For All New Zealanders
This week heralds the launch of the most exciting new online site – New Zealand’s first skincare forum. Healthyskin.co.nz went live for the first time today after months of planning and development. Now there is a place for all Kiwis to discuss and learn everything about maintaining healthy skin.
Head
developer and administrator of the site, James Crow, says it
is long overdue.
"The idea of the forum was to establish
a community where people from all over New Zealand could
come together to help each other as a community," he says.
"The best part is that as the site grows people will
begin to develop their own smaller support communities
within the site; parents helping parents, eczema sufferers
helping eczema sufferers."
The site is capable of catering
to everyone interested in learning and sharing about
skincare issues, from baby care topics, to sunburn to
cosmetic ingredients.
“People will come for health, for
beauty, or just to learn something new."
The site’s
next goal is to involve the medical, naturopathic, and
Rongoa Maori healing communities to further develop the site
with information for everyone.
"The best thing people
can do now is get along to the site, join up and start
getting involved."
Crow expects the sites community to
total five to ten thousand by the end of the year.
"All
it takes is caring people and we have plenty those in New
Zealand."
