Press Release
Embargoed until 12.30pm Tuesday 26 February 2008
"Well done ACC!" says NZ Home Health Association
Chairperson Trish Neal. "The funding increase just announced
by ACC Minister Hon Maryan Street is more than welcome.
Providers will use this to give a much needed boost to
support workers' wages. Paying better wages allows us to
attract and retain committed support workers, who in turn
give committed care to their clients," she continued. "ACC
clients are a very important part of the home support
sector," she
concluded.
