Important step to deal with real health issues facing Hawke’s Bay
Former Hawke’s Bay District Health Board member Peter Hausmann welcomes the appointment of a Commissioner to run the Hawke’s Bay District Health Board.
Peter Hausmann says the appointment is an important step in clearing the way for staff to address the very serious and long standing health issues facing the people of Hawke’s Bay.
He called once more on his former board colleagues to withdraw their legal action against the Ministry of Health review into board governance so the public can see the real issues involved.
He says he has always acted openly and with integrity during his time on the board and looks forward to the public release of the review’s full findings.
Peter Hausmann says he is unable to make any further comment until the review and the former board’s legal action is finalised.
