Two TAB customers collect $102,000 on Pools
A Marlborough resident who invested $4 with the TAB last weekend is just over $102,000 better off after they correctly picked the 10 results for the TAB’s Rugby/Rugby League Pools.
The ticket, which was bought at Clubs of Marlborough, was one of two winning tickets to claim just over $102,000 – the other was an online bet made on the TAB.co.nz website from a TAB Account customer in Manukau City.
The Rugby/Rugby League Pools had jackpotted to more than $200,000 last weekend after it hadn’t been struck since the first week of the Super 14 back in mid February.
Pools are similar to virtual picking competitions – customers need to select the correct Winning Team & Margin for 10 rugby and rugby league matches, from one of five options (Home 13+, Home 1-12, Draw, Away 1-12, Away 13+). Last week, the seven Super 14 rugby matches and three rugby league matches, including the ANZAC test, made up the Pools.
This week there will be a guaranteed $25,000 up for grabs in the Rugby/Rugby League Pools.
