Dog Attack- Arapuni
Further to this release, a 36-year-old Putaruru woman is in a stable condition in Waikato Hospital emergency department and will go to theatre in the next two hours and then onto a ward. Her husband thanked all those who assisted at the scene including local farmers, St John and the Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance. I will provide a condition update later today.

The Westpac Waikato Air
Ambulance was called out to Arapuni, near Putaruru, to
retrieve a woman who was attacked by dogs while
jogging.
Eyewitnesses said that the woman was set upon by 6 to 8 "pig dogs" as she jogged along the rural road. She received multiple lacerations to her scalp, arms and legs and was flown to Waikato Hospital in the care of St John Ambulance Paramedics.
