Sandwiches celebrates NZ drum and bass

It's been a month out of the top draw down here at Sandwiches with one amazing party after another... and it's not quite over yet!

Being NZ music month we thought what better way to celebrate it than by bringing together some of the biggest names in kiwi drum and bass for one big weekend... and well, here it is!
State of Mind
The Upbeats
DDog
Presha
B-Line
JMC
Stonya
MC Woody
Trei
on guitar...
Jess Chambers on vocals...
oh, and a token Brit by the name of MC Lowqui.

Advance tickets for The Upbeats Live on Saturday night are SOLD OUT.

There will be 100 door sales available from 10pm for $40 each.

So if you were a bit slow in getting organised and haven't got your ticket our advice would be to get down early and make sure you secure one of these

It'll be the first time the Upbeats perform live in Wellington and we really can't stress enough what a treat you are all in for!

Here's a wee promo vid to whet the taste buds:

Tickets are also flying out the door for State of Mind on Friday. The boys never disappoint every time they play Sandwiches and this show will be no exception! Secure your $20 ticket from here.

Whilst we're talking drum and bass, earlybird tickets for London Elektricity on Thursday 10th June are almost all sold as well. (there was a wee glitch in the system so if you checked in the last day or so it may have said sold out... but it's fixed now are there are still a few left) Get yours here.

We're also pretty excited about the launch of Dubstate - the new dubstep monthly - this Thursday (That's tonight!) Dubstep has been taking the global dance scene by storm and Wellington producers / djs / and artists are right at the forefront. We're stoked to be involved in a night that will showcase many of them. Entry is free, and the tiger beers are only $5... what are you waiting for! + Selection drum and bass is still rolling in the lounge.

OK, see you in the club. (p.s. It's not all drum and bass... stay tuned for some exciting stuff in all the genres coming up in June!)
