Fisher & Paykel Finance Supports Guide Dog Services

A giant bone-shaped donation will see the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB) Red Puppy Appeal come even closer to the $1million target fundraising campaign.

Thanks to the combined support and generosity of Farmer’s Finance Cardholders and Fisher & Paykel Finance, a donation of $50,000 will be given to the annual appeal via donations, in-store purchases and staff collections.

“We are so grateful for the generosity of Farmer’s Finance Cardholders and Fisher & Paykel Finance. This donation is a huge push towards the Red Puppy Appeal’s $1million target” said Alison Wheatley, RNZFB Executive Director of Marketing and Fundraising.

Fisher & Paykel Finance Managing Director Alastair Macfarlane said “This is a great opportunity for our company and our staff to support this vital national charity. The RNZFB Guide Dog Services provide such an essential service and we’re proud to be able to assist in this way.”

The cheque was handed over today on a giant bone shaped cheque by Greg Shepherd, Chief Operating Officer Fisher & Paykel Finance to Alison Wheatley and her team of Red Puppies, Goldie aged 9 weeks, Bond aged 6 months, and working guide dog Riley aged 3 years.
