Today at 12:15pm the TrustPower TECT Rescue Helicopter was tasked to TeKaha medical center where a 61 year old female had a serious medical condition and needed immediate hospital treatment. She was treated by St John paramedics before being flown to Whakatane hospital. The 61 year old had come from Hicks Bay to TeKaha by road not realizing the seriousness of her condition.
