CDHB Candidate receives NCWNZ endorsement
Canterbury District Health Board Candidate Heather
Symes has received endorsement from the National Council of
Women of New Zealand (NCWNZ) Christchurch
branch.
“Heather is a very experienced, professional health practitioner and the Christchurch Branch wishes to support her nomination for the Canterbury District Health Board elections 2013,” Branch Secretary Billa Field said. “Because of her expertise and interest in all matters relating to health, Heather has been able to keep members informed of developments and issues within the health sector.”
As an active member of NCWNZ Christchurch Branch, Heather has convened the branch’s Health Issues group and is the local corresponding member for the NCWNZ Health Standing Committee.
The National Council of Women of New Zealand (NCWNZ) Christchurch Branch provides a women’s perspective based on the views of its diverse membership. In Christchurch there are 25 societies currently affiliated to our Branch along with many individual members.
